Operation

Move it slowly (10 percent power), adopt a steep angle of approach, cut back the wheel at the last moment, and put it in reverse. You can do this in forward or reverse, but I found the rear view and reverse controls a little awkward. Getting away from the dock isn't nearly the problem it appears. Don't either backing out. You can turn the ship on a dime, and without taking any timbers off the pier. Put It In reverse, crank your rudder full left, and, when the ship is at a 90-degree angle to the dock, kick it Into forward and pull you r rudder right.
